Father Matera presents a Bible study during the Fall and Winter of each year. The studies are held in the lower church on Thursday evenings beginning. Watch the bulletin for details on upcoming dates.
Father Matera will present a Lenten series on the Thursday's in March (9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th) at 7:00 PM in the lower church. Based on the Epistle to the Hebrews, this series focuses on the meaning of Jesus' death for our lives today. It deals with the following quesitons: Why are we afraid to die? Can we find lasting rest? Was Jesus a priest? How does his death touch us today. All are welcome!
Talks will deal with the crisis St. Paul faced in the church at Corinth and how he dealt with it. The series will be held in the Lower Church. Refreshments at 7:00 PM followed by a talk at 7:30 PM.
