Walk in Her Sandals Walk in Her Sandals, edited by popular Catholic author and speaker Kelly M. Wahlquist, takes you deeper into your relationship with Jesus by helping you relate to him in a profoundly intimate way. Looking at six universal gifts of women through the eyes of women in the gospels, the book guides you on a prayerful and creative journey through the days of Holy Week, Easter, and Pentecost. As you imagine the experience of the women who met Jesus, you will discover how each of them expressed one of six, distinctive, feminine gifts identified in the writings of St. John Paul II. Through the eyes of an imagined woman who watched Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, you will understand how she conveyed the gift of receptivity. Through the hands of Veronica, who reached out to wipe the face of Jesus, you will discover how sensitivity is present and can grow in your own life. These gifts, along with generosity, prayer, maternity, and the Holy Spirit, come to life through the vivid portrayal of women who walked with Jesus. Their imagined stories are complemented by the real accounts of contemporary women who share their own stories of receiving and cultivating these gifts.

Book Purchase Please purchase the book ahead of the February 1st start date so that you are prepared for the discussion with the group on week 1. The chapters are relatively short and there are questions at the end of each on which to reflect. The chapters in the book are not interdependent so you do not have to attend all sessions to get something out of this book club. As the saying goes, you’ll reap what you sow, so the more you can join in, the more you will take away. The book is available on Amazon (Walk in Her Sandals Book) for $15.95 paperback or $11.99 Kindle. To those who cannot purchase one on their own, please email [email protected] and request a free copy.
RSVP by January 29th Please RSVP to [email protected] by Saturday, January 29 and let us know which session (Zoom or in person) works for you. And please feel free to invite a friend or relative to join as well. We hope to see you all there. Together there is strength in women who share their gifts with each other and with those we meet.
