Parish Trustee Peg Donohue Honored
Following her retirement as a co-trustee for the parish in the spring of 2013, Peg Donohue was honored by the parish in May.
Peg's service to the parish was celebrated at a small luncheon (her request) at Hopmeadow Country Club with members of her family on hand -- T.J. Donohue and Tara Willerup, representing Peg's five children. Also on hand were representatives from the parish -- Father Matera, Rick Lenz (parish trustee and Finance Committee chair), Dave Carter (School Board president) and Fay Lenz (Parish Council representative).
Peg has served the parish for decades, including the last 30 years as one of our two parish trustees.
To mark this special occasion, Peg was presented with a crystal (see photo below) on behalf of the parish and inscribed as follows:
