We are asking for $5 towards the cost of lunches (payable on that day) Location: 194 Candlewood Hill Rd., Higganum, CT 06441 Theme: The Eucharist - Realizing Jesus' presence through the Eucharist on our life road with Him. A day of reflection on the real presence of Jesus in the eucharist - The eucharist is the very sacrifice of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus which He instituted to perpetuate the sacrifice of the cross throughtout the ages until His return in glory. Thus He entrusted to his Church this memorial of His death and resurerection. The eucharist has always been one of the most important aspects of Christianity. The Catechism of the Catholic Church strongly asserts the "Real Presence" of Jesus' body in the Eucharist; this is to say that the sacrament is not symbolic of the body and blood of Jeses but rather that it is his body and blood. Retreat Leader: Retreat Director, Sr Lany Jo, ASCJ Reservations Needed: We need a head count minimum of 20 to make this work so please reserve your spot!
